LetUsReply AI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use LetUsReply AI ("the App") and how it is used.

Information We Collect

• Device identifier: A randomly generated UUID created on your device the first time you launch the App. This is used solely to enforce daily usage limits and authenticate your requests. It is never linked to your name, email address, or any other personal information.
• Message text: The message you choose to reply to — and any earlier conversation context you optionally paste — is transmitted to our server and forwarded to OpenAI to generate suggested replies. This text is not stored on our servers after the response is returned.
• Personalization data: Your style profile (the traits, phrases, writing examples, and custom rules you enter) and the replies you mark as favorites are stored locally on your device. When you generate or refine a reply, the relevant parts are transmitted to our server and forwarded to OpenAI so the suggestions match your voice. This data is not stored on our servers after the response is returned.
• IP address: Your device's IP address is processed transiently by our server to enforce rate limits and protect the service from abuse, and may appear in temporary server logs. It is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
• Usage data: We collect anonymous, aggregated usage events (for example, when the App is opened or a reply is generated or copied) to understand how the App is used and improve it. These events contain no message content, are not linked to your device identifier or identity, and are not used to track you across other apps or websites.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Your phone number or iMessage contacts
• Location data
• Any content from your Messages app beyond what you explicitly paste into the App

Your style profile, favorites, and reply history live on your device. As described above, the relevant parts are sent transiently at the moment you generate or refine a reply — solely to produce replies in your voice — and are discarded once the response is returned. They are never retained on our servers, stored as content, or used to build a profile of you.

How We Use Your Information

Your device identifier is used to authenticate requests and enforce daily reply limits under your subscription tier. Your IP address is used transiently to rate-limit requests and prevent abuse. The message text and personalization data you submit are used only to generate or refine AI reply suggestions, and are not retained, analyzed, or used for any other purpose after the response is returned.

Data Security

Your device identifier and authentication token are stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device. We transmit data over encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not store your message text on our servers beyond the time required to return a response.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI: The message text and personalization data you submit are sent to OpenAI, L.L.C. solely to generate reply suggestions. Under OpenAI's API data usage policies, this data is not used to train or improve their models and is retained by OpenAI only transiently for abuse monitoring before deletion. OpenAI provides protections for this data comparable to those described in this policy. OpenAI's handling of data is governed by their API data privacy commitments and Privacy Policy. We obtain your explicit consent in the App before any data is sent to OpenAI.
• Apple StoreKit: In-app purchases and subscription management are handled by Apple. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Railway: Our backend server is hosted on Railway. Data transmitted to our server passes through Railway's infrastructure.

Data Retention

We do not persistently store your message text or personalization data — both are discarded after each response is returned. Your device identifier is retained on our server only as long as needed to enforce daily usage limits and may be cleared periodically. IP addresses may appear in temporary server logs and are not retained long-term.

Children's Privacy

LetUsReply AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
